@okidoke: Thanks but I'm not privileged enough for your approach.
You are. Your existence is enough privilege to warrant you exploring your life. You are worth not giving up on. Don't give up on yourself. You're worth that search, that fight, that struggle, thats what life is. It's that long fight that we wonder why we participate in to begin with, but its that fight and struggle that teaches us the things we know to become our best selves. You aren't a bad person for feeling bad, or not being happy, that, if anything, is a reminder that you're a complex, unique, beautiful individual with emotions, thoughts, feelings, ideas, and opinions, and they deserved to be expressed, heard, and valued just as much as everyone around you. You hold so much value, don't let the negativity diminish it. Keep fighting man. I'm proud of you.

It is so disappointing when people do exactly what you know they will do and still do it and disappoint you anyway. Especially when they knew for awhile and all you do is sit and wait for the inevitable because that is the way they are and are so completely and utterly predictable. Have some respect for other people for a change.

A mysterious wave-like structure that sheds 9,000 light-years in length on our Milky Way

The Milky Way galaxy is far from static.

One striking example of its dynamic nature is the discovery of the Radcliffe Wave, a massive, 9,000 light-year-long structure made of star-forming gas.

Located just 500 light-years from the Solar System at its nearest point, the Radcliffe Wave was first identified in 2018 using data from the Gaia spacecraft, with findings published in 2020.

But recent research has unveiled something even more intriguing: this enormous structure is not just moving in its orbit around the galactic center, it’s also oscillating like a wave.

The Radcliffe Wave, a massive 9,000 light-year long star-forming structure in the Milky Way, is not just orbiting the galaxy but also oscillating like a traveling wave.

Scientists used Gaia spacecraft data to map the 3D positions and motions of baby stars along the Radcliffe Wave, revealing its undulating motion through the Milky Way.

The wave-like movement of the Radcliffe Wave can be explained by the gravitational influence of normal matter in the galaxy, without needing to invoke dark matter.

The formation of the Radcliffe Wave, and its motion, may be linked to events such as supernovae or gravitational interactions with other galaxies.

There may be more wave-like structures in the Milky Way waiting to be discovered, which could provide insights into galaxy formation and gravitational dynamics.

Short tutorial how to deal with USA politicians.

" A new law on pensions is being written, and the World Bank proposes: Twenty-year-olds will work until the age of 72 "

And I propose you to bl0w me.

Car spotting was interesting this morning.

I saw that McLaren GT again that I saw last year. It was the same color, kind of a light metallic frost blue/grey, and it's not a common car so I'm pretty sure it's the same one.

And there was a red DeTomaso Pantera sitting in a showroom downtown. I might have to go back and get a picture later.

Knowing you, you’ll take a picture and not show us for six months lol

No surprise here, why would I expect any less for other people to pull their weight too and not expect me to pick up the slack all of the time. All the thanks doesn't mean a thing when you don't get any real appreciation in the end. Actions speak louder than words, anyone can spew meaningless words.

Challenge accepted...I'll go Thursday 😅

Hopefully the DeTomaso is still at the dealership. That's a quick and easy walk.

I don't think I can just summon the McLaren to appear, though... 🧙‍♂️🪄✨🏎️

The lighting was bad today...I couldn't get a good photo.
It was in a dark garage, and it was mostly overcast all day. I needed more sun.
I should have had my camera with me when I saw it, walking home from voting at the village hall.

I'll have to try again in a couple days. Hopefully it will still be there.
