I knew I was saving my 4300th post for something special.

@TheSka is the special man for sure. A man we all feel like we wanna save......but he always resists.

Mate, the only thing holding you back is yourself @TheSkaFish

Thanks. I'm sorry for being a pain in the ass.

I just had intense feelings of doom today.

Sometimes I'll have an even keel for a while, and then I will have a day that's a total doozy.
The pessimism/doom feeling will just go up to 11 and lock up my brain.

Don’t worry about trying to save America or getting the populous to think your way or convince any woman to be with you

I'm not trying to do this stuff, the politician or entrepreneur stuff.
I used to think I wanted to be an entrepreneur but I have too many interests to just want to do one thing.
I'm not trying to be a player either. It's not for me.

I've always had this kind of, avoidant personality I guess you could say. Going back to kindergarten I think.
Today was a whiff...hopefully I'll sleep these feelings off.

You're not being a pain in the ass dude.

many of us have days of despair buddy. you just have step back and reassess your opportunities. i haven't looked, but perhaps there's like an online "guidance counsellor" that can assist you in some direction? and don't be afraid of change.

If I still end up doing something that isn't "me", I'm going to be angry and depressed 24/7/365.
And that would be different than where you are now?
Plain and simple, you don't know who you are, so you can't possibly know what is and isn't "you.". You have biased ideas about certain things, but in reality, you don't really know anything and that's true of all of us. You can't and won't know until you try. Anything short of that is just excuses.

You have a biased idea of who you are just like all of us have of ourselves. Every single one of us has things we say to ourselves to hold us back because it's a scary world. Time to get out of our comfort zones and try something new because until we do that, we have no chance of finding out who we really are and what/who we are meant to be. Sometimes you just have to do something you don't really want to do to find out for sure.

This reminds me of a quote by Sadhguru:

"We have not experienced life, we have conclusions about everything." 💜

The awkward moment when you find out that average hairdresser makes more money than college graduate in your country. And 1d10ts still ask you why you think college is useless. :D
At one point in time my ex was making almost $50 an hour. He has no college degree. Hell, he didn't get his GED until he was 23.
Granted at that time he was literally hanging off a cliff in a backhoe, so yeah, maybe go with hairdresser. Some of them make more than $50/hr. Lol

As far as college goes, it entirely depends on what you go for and what you do with it. Teachers have college degrees and we all know they don't get paid well. At least not in America.

It's really hitting me, now, all of the sudden, how ludicrous it is, that America (USA): the supposed greatest country in the world, doesn't have a national healthcare system.

Canada has national healthcare. Britain has national healthcare. I believe most of the Western European countries do. I think some of the Eastern European countries do, not sure though.

I know as far as the implementation goes, it's difficult, because there is sooooo much private capital involved, and for so long. But, this is all just absurd. We should have National Healthcare by now.. It's time. It's probably too late: our system isn't designed to function that way, but... Wow, it just seems absurd that we don't.

It's just crazy... https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/countries-with-universal-healthcare

And Brazil, for example, has true Universal Healthcare, based on the information in this link.

Oops, yeah the idiot... 1di0t thing was me trying to preview it to see if the forum filters it, and then forgetting to delete it out. That was not directed at anyone, except maybe myself for not seeing it was there until now.

What country are you in? What happened? What is your situation? If I may so inquire.

I'm from south-east Europe, not gonna tell where specific.

Basically, during colonoscopy tube damaged my stomach , created few hernias, then after that I went on surgery for hernia, after that I " partially lost feeling " on both of my legs, like I have nerves damage ... Everytime I go to bathroom, that is the problem, cause of damaged lower part of stomach .... I also have like .... " hiatal hernia " , also made from gastroscopy ... From that $h1t I got heart-burns, I cough all the time , I have acid issues cause of that. Basically, my body is soo messed up that I need Jesus to come from clouds and touch-heal me. xD

My situation - can walk for 15 minutes per day, anything over that is just ... overkill. Can't get job cause I can't walk, can't get education cause I'm too ill to be in class al the time, and $h1t like that.

So I took ill retirement. Government covers all my expenses, which are pretty low ... Again, in USA I would get millions.

So wanna hear a joke - Europe's health care system and justice. xD That is a good running joke. XD

You always come across as so cheerful! Mad respect to you! You're made of tougher material than me, that is for sure 💜

No, you wouldn't. You would have had to sign a consent form to do the procedure, where those things are mentioned. So you wouldn't have won a lawsuit and you wouldn't have gotten a settlement.
People read things online like that and assume everyone who had a bad surgery in America gets paid for it....That's just simply not true. Only about 20% of malpractice cases win against doctors/hospitals.
