I, unfortunately, did. And shyness is horrible for a guy. As many have said here, it's a turnoff to women.

I've never encountered that situation so far. Hopefully I never will.

I don't know what I'd do. Personally I don't see myself developing feelings for someone just from frequent sexual encounters.
