Man. This thread turned out to be much more interesting than I thought it would. Maybe next time I can find out who the 2nd gunman was on the grassy knoll!

Well out of curiosity i looked it up. I found it rather surprising.
What passes as politics has gone beyond mudslinging into out right hate mongering. Any claim is fair game no matter how baseless and asinine, as long as denigrates the opponent. I don't think any party is totally innocent of that. When the guy in question was running for president for the first time, before he was elected there were so many off the wall claims and accusations being made that the only thing that i could think of was that no one had accused him of being the antichrist. Then again i wasn't sure so i did some searching and found a single site that did claim that he was the antichrist. It was a parody site making fun of all the outrageous political claims. Apparently they too thought it must be the most extreme claim, if they were going to use it in their parody. I have no idea if that is the origin of the claim or if the claim is just an extension of the natural growth of this hate mongering.
Anyway according to a small poll done by Public Policy Polling of a group registered american voters ...
4% believe shape-shifting reptilian people control our world by taking on human form and gaining power.
13% of voters think Barack Obama is the anti-Christ.
The claim that almost twice as many people believe that Obama is the antichrist as believe that the mood landing was faked surprises me.
The survey was of 1,247 registered voters and may not represent any other group.
A more popular belief than both is that the media or the government adds secret mind-controlling technology to television broadcast signals.

I hadn't planned on making any comments about Obama because I know that they will be met with ridicule. But I don't care anymore.
The Antichrist as I believe(not facts, just what I believe from my faith in God's word.) him to be is going to be very attractive, extremely intelligent, charismatic, powerful, and rotten to the core with an agenda straight out of Hell.
Barack Obama is the most powerful man on Earth. He has charisma, he is very smart, has the mightiest weapons, and is the leader of the most powerful country on Earth. For these reasons, many believe he is the Antichrist.
In all fairness, all of those youtube videos on him being the Antichrist are most likely created and uploaded by republicans and white folks who don't much like having a black man run their country.
Do I personally, believe that he is the Antichrist? Absolutely not.
With me it's a matter of faith and good ol' fashioned gut feeling.
I could be wrong, I could be right, the Bulls could win the NBA finals next season, I could step outside tomorrow to get the mail and slip and fall on my ass, I could win the lottery.
Ultimately, we can't be sure about anything. This is why my faith guides me. I will end it here because I don't want this thread locked. I'm no expert on the bible or religion. Just a simple believer who will continue to be one as long as I draw breath.

Don't forget that Oprah endorsed him and she has never done that before. If that isn't enough proof, he scowled when a heckler insulted him. You may also notice that anti-Christ and Barack Obama both have the same number of characters. Coincidence? Tell me as they put the mark on your forehead.

I don't believe he's the antichrist.
Going by the bible, the antichrist is going to be someone likeable...as in, everyone likes him. Not just a percentage of the population.
Obama is not the antichrist, because if he were, the Republican, Gun toting GOP worshippers wouldn't be up his bum.
