Absolutely Anything with Simon Pegg. I've been a bit of a Simon Pegg fan since Shaun of the Dead. Didn't know this Absolutely Anything movie was out there and I'm glad I'm still finding his movies

Spaceman 2024 with Adam Sandler.

8 out of 10 is my grade for movie. Tiny bit above rock solid. Cool movie, but not as top tier as " Inception " for example.

8 / 10.

Konvoi

A Norwegian film based on Convoy PQ 17 which set sail on 27 June 1942 from Hvalfjörður, Iceland, for the port of
Arkhangelsk in the Soviet Union, to deliver weapons and supplies to the Soviets for their battle with Hitler. Of the
35 ships, only eleven reached their destination, delivering 70,000 tons of cargo out of the 200,000 tons that started
the journey.

Secretary 2002 billed as a comedy/romance, but I'm not sure of either of those descriptors. The voyeur in me liked it though. Wikipedia says it might have inspired the writer of 50 Shades of Grey, which when I heard the name of Spader's character made me think the same thing, even though I've never watched that film. Maggie is cute.

I’ve watched this movie many times. I really like the dynamics between Maggie Gyllenhall and James Spader. Spader is such a wonderful actor too. I find the sadomasochistic, submissive/dominant theme interesting too - not sure it would appeal in real life, but I like the idea. 😁

Vivarium (2019) Interesting film. I'd never heard the word vivarium before, but I worked out its meaning. I liked it. It felt a bit off the normal plain of movies, which is a good thing. It's creepy, strange, thought provoking.

Buffalo '66 (1998) (Link to film at archive.org) After being released from prison, Billy (Vincent Gallo) is set to visit his parents with his wife, whom he does not actually have. This provokes Billy to act out, as he kidnaps a girl (Christina Ricci) and forces her to act as his wife for the visit.

Every character in this movie annoyed me in some way, Ricci the least though. Billy is one messed up individual. At the 1hr38m mark of the film when Billy enters a strip joint, there is a cool piece of music playing, which just makes the ****s more enjoyable to look at @randomguy (since you like ****s)
